The XGS-PON ONU Stick is a 10G SFP+ optical network unit designed for HomeLab users, networking enthusiasts, and IT professionals who want to terminate XGS-PON fiber directly on compatible networking equipment.
Instead of depending on the routing and management functions of an ISP gateway, this module enables a direct-fiber architecture using your own compatible MikroTik, Ubiquiti UniFi, OPNsense, pfSense, x86 router, switch, or other SFP+ networking platform.
Key Feature Highlights 8311 V2.8.3 Dual-Partition Firmware
Pre-installed with 8311 V2.8.3 community firmware and dual-partition architecture. Provides greater flexibility for firmware management, configuration, and safe recovery.
Full XGS-PON Bandwidth
Supports full bandwidth capability for high-speed symmetric 10Gbps fiber networks. Actual Internet performance depends on your ISP service plan, OLT provisioning, and host gear.
Full Web GUI Management
Access the interface at 192.168.11.1 to configure MAC address, PON Serial Number (SN), LOID, device password, and PLOAM credentials without serial consoles.
MaxLinear PRX126 Platform
Built around the MaxLinear PRX126 platform for XGS-PON. (GPON is NOT supported due to different optical wavelengths).
Enhanced Thermal Management
Includes an aluminum heatsink and a quiet active cooling fan to maintain optimal temperatures during sustained high-throughput operation.
