baZic CP/M Software Complete Package Manual Disk Micro Mike's 1981 North Star
Price: US $68.95

You're looking at something genuinely rare — a complete, intact software package from the golden age of microcomputing that has survived over 40 years together.

Most vintage software from this era lost its manuals, its disks, its paperwork, or all three long ago.

This one didn't.

baZic IIn was a Z80-code High Level Interpretive BASIC language developed by Micro Mike's, Incorporated of Amarillo, Texas, specifically for the NorthStar Disk Operating System.

Micro Mike's was a small regional microcomputer software developer — the kind of company that existed briefly, served a dedicated community of early computer users, and then quietly disappeared as the IBM PC era took over.

Finding a complete package like this today is the exception, not the rule.

Everything is here:

baZic Operator's Manual — in the original white 3-ring binder with the distinctive illustrated cover insert. Complete and fully readable.

baZic IIn Language Manual — revision 01/02, dated April 10, 1981. Original typewritten document. Covers the full language specification for this Z80/NorthStar implementation.

baZic Pocket Reference Card — the original folded quick-reference card branded with the Micro Mike's logo. Increasingly hard to find separately.

Micro Mike's Software Sales Policy — dated August 1, 1981, five pages complete.

A fascinating piece of early microcomputer business history in its own right.

-Maxell Mini-Floppy Disk labeled "BAZIC FOR CP/M NS"

-Original Micro Mike's return mailer envelope — 385 Plains Blvd., Amarillo TX 79102. The complete provenance paperwork.

This is the kind of find that belongs in a serious vintage computing collection or with a NorthStar Horizon restorer who wants their system running as it did in 1981. It would also be a meaningful contribution to software preservation efforts — much of what Micro Mike's produced has never been digitized.

Disk sold untested/as-is — requires a NorthStar Horizon or compatible Z80/CP/M system to read. Manuals and paperwork are complete and in good condition with expected age-related wear.
