This PowerBook 180c has been professionally restored, including all the standoffs being remounted and the hinge mounts being reinforced by epoxy and glue. I have taken care to reassemble and reinforce all brittle parts, while maintaining a perfect exterior finish of the device. This is a Japanese market device, and it has a JIS keyboard and modem. It runs system 7.5.5 with JLK and KanjiTalk. The keyboard and trackball have been thoroughly cleaned, all the caps have been replaced, including a complete capacitor replacement on the original sharp liquid crystal display. I have also rebuilt and replaced the internal ribbon cable and upgraded the memory module to a maximum of 12 MB. the device has also been upgraded with blueSCSI Solid state hard disk with 32 GB of storage, and 2 GB formatted with system 7.5.5 and original KanjiTalk. The battery door and rear door are present, the battery has been gutted, and a brand new 6800mAh battery will be included, and there is no corrosion. A data modem gold has been installed. This would be a perfect item for serious collectors or for a buyer that really wants to relive the past with a perfectly restored machine. UPS ground preferred.
