Condition / Testing
The IIfx has been tested and is known to boot. It has successfully displayed the Macintosh startup sequence and operated from its installed system.
Important: The computer has an intermittent power issue- PSU likely needs recapping, see the video link above for better explanation of symptoms.
At times, the IIfx will power on and operate normally; at other times it may power on briefly and shut back down. The behavior is intermittent (see video). This may require troubleshooting of the power supply and/or related components. The machine is therefore not being represented as fully reliable.
The NuBus hardware and other components are included as shown.
Collector / Restoration Opportunity
The Macintosh IIfx is one of the most historically significant 68K Macintosh models and was known for its exceptional performance for its era. This is a particularly nice opportunity to acquire a complete IIfx setup with NuBus expansion, SCSI hard drive, original-style input devices, power cable, and period Macintosh software.
